clogged shower drainunfriendly receptionist
the shower drain was clogged. i went to the front desk to report it. the receptionist told me someone would come to fix it but then answered a phone call. after several minutes, she asked why i was still waiting. she claimed she had already told me what would happen. carlos eventually came to unclog the drain. the stench was terrible and it took almost an hour. i asked for a new room but the receptionist said the hotel was full. she became unfriendly. the service from the receptionist was very poor.

the room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. every staff member was very pleasant and helpful. the hotel is situated in possibly the best part of the city center. i requested a kettle in my room.
the ceiling HAD a leak and wet my coat. there was black in the shower. the toilet didn't flush properly.

staff were friendly and always willing to help with requests. they were able to cancel a traffic fine, if you told them you were travelling by car and gave them the license number.

Fantastic Stay in a Historical Gem!

The staff were AMAZING! They offered bottled water and minerals for free in the room. I found the location perfect. It was near restaurants and the promenade. I really appreciated the 24-hour staff and their friendliness.
The hotel's soundproofing was not as effective as I hoped. Street noise was audible until late hours. It affected my sleep some nights.

The room was very clean and included a free minibar with soft drinks restocked daily. The staff were friendly and helpful (especially when I needed directions). The rooftop terrace was a moment of peace amidst the city buzz.
The street noise was noticeable until late at night.
